Freestyle Digital Buys High School Bullying Drama ‘Reach’
“Reach” will debut theatrically through Christian Meoli’s Voltaire Media in 10 major markets on Oct. 19 along with a day and date VOD release.
High School Bullying Drama ‘Reach’ Lands Freestyle & Voltaire Media Deal
Reach, an indie drama that takes on the issue of high school bullying from all sides’ perspectives, is headed to theaters in a deal struck with Freestyle Digital Media and Voltaire Media. The pic starring Garrett Clayton and directed by Leif Rokesh had its world premiere last month at the Dances With Films festival.
Voltaire will release Reach in 10 major markets October 19 day-and-date with Freestyle’s release on digital and VOD. October is National Bullying Prevention Month.
POPHORROR: Crepitus comes to Hollywood!
Crepitus is coming to Los Feliz Theater, 1822 North Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90027 on Thursday, June 21! The world premiere event starts at 6:30pm local time. Ticket holders will attend the show with the cast, filmmakers, and various celebrities. POPHORROR: Limited Edition 'Crepitus' Red Beer is
in the Works!
As you all know by now, I love indie horror films and one of my most anticipated films of 2018 is Ginger Knight Entertainment’s sadistic clown film Crepitus. So any news about it is always a plus. In a recent press release, it’s been announced that the Mackinaw Trail Winery, based out of Petoskey, MI, is set to release a limited edition Crepitus Beer! The beer is crafted by Mackinaw Trial brewmaster, Theodore Monroe.
VARIETY: Casting News for 'Life in Reverse'
Shooting has started in Los Angeles on the drama “Life in Reverse,” starring Chris Minor, Jenni Kennedy, Darwin Shaw, Kera O’Bryon, William McNamara, and Joe Estevez.
Writer/director/executive producer Tara Lynn Marcelle is making her feature directorial debut, exploring a seemingly random incident or meeting that is soon interpreted to have been arranged by God in which, after a devastating accident, a musician leaves town to make amends but discovers he must first forgive himself. Executive producers are Marcelle and her Fly Sparrow Films. Producers are Kennedy, under her AK Production, banner along with Lance Paul and his Ginger Knight Entertainment.

How many creepy clowns can fit in the comically cramped car we call Hollywood? Quite a few, it would seem. Hot on the heels of It and the current season of American Horror Story comes Crepitus, which stars horror genre fan favorite Bill Moseley (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, House of 1,000 Corpses) as the latest character to combine face paint and fear.

Principal photography has begun in Lima, Ohio, with Nick Kellis directing from his own script. Lance Paul is producing and April Kennedy is executive producing. Production companies are Paul’s Ginger Knight Entertainment and Kellis’ new Flyover State Productions.
“A Walk with Grace” also stars Yorke Fryer, Mishka Calderon, Ian Grey, Joe Estevez, Austin St. John and Nicole Dambro.

Directed by Haynze Whitmore, screenplay by Eddie and Sarah Renner, “CREPITUS” is filmed entirely in Cheboygan, Michigan and is Whitmore’s directorial debut for a feature film.
